There are four types of Tickets for Statue of Unity 
1. Basic entry ticket
2. Viewing Gallery ticket
3. VIP or Express Entry Ticket
4. Tickets for Foreign nationals

Basic entry ticket

The price of a basic ticket is Rs 150 for an adult (age > 15 years) and Rs 90 for a child (age 3 to 15 years).

With this ticket, you can get entry to 
1. The valley of flower
2. Memorial
3. museum 
4. Audio-visual gallery
5. The Statue of Unity site
6. Sardar Sarovar Dam

You don't get the access to go up to the viewing gallery at the chest of the Statue with this ticket. 


Viewing Gallery ticket

The price of Viewing Gallery ticket is Rs 380 for an adult and Rs 230 for a child. This ticket gives all the basic entry access and also access to the viewing gallery at the chest of the Sadar Vallabhbhai Patel's statue. 

This is at a height of 135 meters or 443 feet and gives panoramic views of the Narmada river, surrounding hills, and Sardar Sarovar dam.


VIP or Express Entry Ticket 

VIP or Express Entry ticket to Statue of Unity is for Rs 1,000 for all over 3 years of age. This gives the same access as Viewing Gallery ticket however, the ticket holders do not need to stand in a queue to take the ride on the lifts. 


Tickets for Foreign nationals

This is only for foreign nationals (from outside India). The price of this ticket is Rs 1,530 for an adult and ₹830 for a child. 

It gives the same benefits as the 'VIP or Express Entry Ticket'.

Visit timings

The Statue of Unity opens at 8:00 AM and closes at 6:00 PM from Tuesday to Sunday. 

Laser light and sound show happen from 7:30 PM onwards daily, except on Mondays.

The Statue of Unity is closed on Mondays for maintenance work.


What spots you should see when you visit the Statue of Unity?

1. Obviously, you should see the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel statue

2. Viewing gallery – To view the Narmada river, Sardar Sarover Dam and reservoir and the tall mountain range from a height of 135 m.


3. Valley of flowers –  It is a 17 km long patch of colorful flowers along the banks of River Narmada. It will look like a rainbow of flowers setup on earth. You will get a chance to see 100 varieties of plants here.

4. Wall of Unity – Made from the soil collected from one and a half lakh villages across the country.

5. Selfie point – For all the selfie lovers you can click your pic with the statue of unity in the background amid amazing surroundings.

6. Laser Light & Sound Show – In case you are interested to view a digital, visual representation of the story behind Sardar Patel and making of the statue. This show happens every day at 7:30 pm daily except Mondays.

7. Museum and audio-visual gallery – To appreciate the works of Sardar Patel towards his country.


Tips for visiting Statue of Unity

1. Reach the Statue of Unity as early as possible when visiting on crowded days like Sundays. This will help you to avoid queues at the elevator for the observation deck.

2. Statue of Unity is closed on Mondays for maintenance so plan your trip accordingly.

3. Food items are not allowed inside the premises.

4. Keep your soft or hard copy of the online tickets with you handy. They can be checked multiple times inside.

5. You can book tickets online for slots after 24 hours only.

5. Safaris and helicopter rides are also there if you are interested.

6. Parking for private four-wheelers is around 8 km away from the statue. You can hop on and off in the buses plying over there to move around. 

7. Plan to visit in the afternoon so you don't miss the Laser show which starts at 7:30 pm. It will take around 4 to 5 hours.
